Hi, and welcome to MumDoc — this is the story behind the site...
I didn’t set out to create a website. I set out to survive.
For years, I’ve juggled being a doctor, raising two children on my own, and silently surviving the emotional wreckage of a narcissistic marriage. Some days, I barely made it through the shift. Other days, I barely made it through bedtime. And for a long time, I lived with the crushing pressure to keep it all together — professionally, emotionally, financially — even when everything inside me was falling apart.
But then something started to change.
Not suddenly. Slowly. Quietly. I started asking myself: What if I’m not the only one feeling this way?
What if the very story I’ve been hiding — the grief, the trauma, the single parenting failures, the fear — was the very thing someone else needed to hear to keep going?
That’s why I’ve created MumDoc.
This isn’t a place for perfect parents, filtered lives, or clinical detachment. This is a space for single mums, exhausted carers, burnt-out professionals — anyone who’s been through trauma and still shows up each day for their children, for their work, for themselves.
I’ll be sharing:
- Real talk on co-parenting with a narcissist
- Healing tools for mums who’ve lived through emotional abuse
- Faith, motherhood, medicine, and mental health — without sugarcoating
- Resources to help you rebuild routines, regain calm, and reclaim yourself
Why now?
Because I no longer want to live under someone else’s control — not financially, emotionally, or spiritually.
Because I believe there’s power in sharing what I’ve survived.
Because if even one woman reads this and feels less alone, it’s worth it.
If this resonates with you — please do subscribe. Download the free healing checklist. Share with a mum who needs it.
You are not alone here.
We survive — and then we build something better.
One day at a time.
