As a single working parent, staycations were never just a lifestyle choice for me — they were often a necessity. I was incredibly blessed to be able to design and own my own bespoke converted campervan, and when holidays abroad weren’t always affordable or practical, travelling across the UK and Europe with my two children became the heart of our family adventures.

Let me be honest — campervan holidays with children are not always easy. They require planning, patience, resilience, and a good sense of humour. But they can also be some of the most beautiful, bonding, memory-making experiences you will ever have.

This page is here to share my real-life experiences, practical tips, honest lessons, and tried-and-tested advice to help make your own campervan travels smoother and more enjoyable — whether you are navigating holidays as a single parent or planning adventures as a whole family.

Here you will find simple ideas, fully laid-out itineraries, packing guidance, campsite recommendations, and links to destinations and activities that we have genuinely loved along the way. My hope is that this space helps you feel more confident, inspired, and equipped to create your own special travel memories.

Because sometimes life does hand us lemons — but making lemonade can be an adventure in itself.

So take the trip, embrace the journey, and most importantly… get out there and live.
